The Project ## About the Borpatra Tea Estate, Assam project The plant is part of the 3.11 MW commercial & industrial solar programme for Goodricke's estates, developed jointly by Tata Power Renewable Energy Ltd. and Sustvest, with Arrays Ingenieria as the turnkey implementation partner. Arrays Ingenieria obtained the net-metering and statutory approvals from Assam Power Distribution Company Ltd. (APDCL), including technical inspection by the Namrup SDE and the APDCL Dibrugarh TRD department, so the plant could start on schedule. Borpatra brought the company's count to 19 on-grid solar plants in Assam's tea gardens, as reported in the Hindi press on 25 September 2026. Under its motto "Olive Green to Go Green", Arrays Ingenieria brings military-grade discipline and engineering precision to building critical clean-energy infrastructure. It also advances Assam Chief Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma's target of 6,000 MW of installed green-energy capacity by 2030. The project shows that sustainable innovation and clean energy can drive the next chapter of Assam's economic growth story.
