Rossell India Tea Estates, Assam: Ground-Mount Solar I&C
Four ground-mount solar plants for Rossell India's tea estates in Assam, each built from the foundations up to commissioning by Arrays Ingenieria for Tata Power.
About the Rossell India, Assam project
Kharikatia Tea Estate (302 kW, 2023) came first: pile construction, installation & commissioning of the ground-mount plant and its BOS works.
At Nagrijuli Tea Estate the company piled the site in 2024 and installed and commissioned the 493.24 kWp plant in 2025, with its BOS materials, additional cabling and module cleaning system. Romai Tea Estate (170.51 kWp) followed the same pattern in 2025, and in 2026 the company piled, supplied BOS materials for, and installed and commissioned the 367 kW plant at Dikom Tea Estate.
Our scope of work
- Pile foundations
- Earth pits, equipment foundations and module mounting structures
- Installation & commissioning of each ground-mount plant
- BOS materials, inverter stands and additional cabling
- Module cleaning system services
How the Project Unfolded
The work, stage by stage, as it was ordered and delivered.
Kharikatia Tea Estate, 302 kW

Nagrijuli Tea Estate, 493.24 kWp
Installation & commissioning, BOS materials, pile foundations and module cleaning services.
Nagrijuli additions
Additional BOS cabling.
Romai Tea Estate, 170.51 kWp
BOS materials, pile foundations, installation & commissioning, module cleaning, inverter stands and additional BOS.
Dikom Tea Estate, 367 kW
Installation & commissioning, piling services and BOS materials.
Challenges and How We Handled Them
Four estates, four sizes
From 170 kWp at Romai to 493 kWp at Nagrijuli, each plant was sized to the estate's load and land, but built to the same EPC specification and checklists.
Repeat client, rising scale
Rossell's estates came back for a second, third and fourth plant between 2023 and 2026, each time with the full chain of piling, BOS, I&C and cleaning.
Foundations first
Piling was done ahead of installation on every estate, so structures went up level and true on soft tea-garden soil.
What Our I&C Scope Covered
The standard ground-mount installation & commissioning scope we deliver to EPC majors' specifications, after the mandatory quality and safety training and contractor safety sign-off.
